NBA teams are wasting no time showing their support for the Los Angeles Clippers. The entire Miami Heat basketball team warmed up with their T-shirts inside out last night to show support.
NBA commissioner Adam Silver, will hold a press conference Tuesday in New York City to address the association’s investigation into the alleged racist remarks made by Clippers owner Donald Sterling. Pressure is mounting from the public to punish Sterling, and sponsors are no longer showing support. However, it’s unclear what action will be taken, and if forced to sell the Clippers Sterling would certainly bring a lawsuit.
Recordings were revealed of Sterling making disparaging and degrading remarks about black people.
