A synthetic marijuana drug known a K2 landed 33 people in the hospital in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn.

Attorney William Mauzy confirmed that Dr. Howard Kornfeld, a California-based specialist and a national authority on opioid addiction treatment, was contacted by representatives for the entertainer who said Prince "was dealing with a grave medical emergency." Mauzy works with the Kornfeld family.

The singer, who died April 21, began requesting foods that were easier to digest, chef Ray Roberts told the AP. He was also fighting off "waves of sore throats and frequent upset stomachs."

The museum -- which is free to the public from April 19-21 -- will take place on Park Avenue during the United Nations General Assembly Meeting on the world drug problem.

The exhibition, dubbed “Taking the Stage,” will include the cover from his 1964 album “I Started Out as a Child” and an “I, Spy” comic book.

New drug reforms are slated to be presented to the United Nations in April.
