Hidden Figures was the big winner at the NAACP Image awards last night. But it was Denzel Washington’s moving acceptance speech that put everything into proper perspective. Washington won the trophy for his performance in “Fences,” winning for best movie actor. Washington, who directed the adaptation of August Wilson’s play, won a Screen Actors Guild award for his performance and is up for an Oscar Feb. 26.
