New Edition is finally getting their proper’s with their upcoming mini-doc on BET, and their very own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. According to the LA Times, members Ronnie DeVoe, Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins, Bobby Brown, Ralph Tresvant and Johnny Gill will all be on hand to receive the Walk of Fame’s 2,600th star today.

Jimmy Jam who is responsible for several chart topping hits to include “Can You Stand the Rain” and “If It Isn’t Love,” will speak at the ceremony, as well as BET’s President of original programming Stephen Hill.

The Walk of Fame event coincides with BET’s three-part miniseries The New Edition Story, which chronicles the group’s rise from Boston teenagers to chart-topping R&B superstars. The New Edition Story airs on Tuesday (Jan. 24), Wednesday (Jan. 25) and Thursday (Jan. 26) at 9PM ET on BET.
