“Rise and Grind!”
Your favorite housewives are back with a vengeance. The Real Housewives of Atlanta gears up for season 9, and don’t worry; you’ll find no shortness of shade this season.
Earlier today People released the exclusive season 9 trailer. The majority of the cast returns to represent The Peach State, with the exception of clap back queen, NeNe Leakes.
Former housewife, Sheree Whitfield returns to the show with a booming announcement of, “The bitch is back!” In tow is ex-hubby, Bob Whitfield, and lots of drama for Kenya Moore.
Whitfield and Moore are seen with their claws out. “Look ho –” snaps Kenya. Sheree strikes back, “Why you running away with your unfinished ass house?”
Kandi Burruss is called out about her sexuality when she is flat-out asked if she is a lesbian. The plot thickens when Porscha Williams brings up an invitation to Kandi’s “sex dungeon?!”
Cynthia Bailey and Peter Thomas are still in relationship purgatory, but does Bailey have a new boo? The trailer would imply that she may be over her ex and moving on to the next when we see her arriving at the apartment of a mysterious man.
However, Bailey and Thomas aren’t the only ones with trouble in love. “He’s unstable,” says Moore describing boyfriend Matt Jordan. Kenya has her own relationship woes this season as her coupling with Jordan spirals out of control.
“He kicked in my hotel door,” she says between tears to Phaedra Parks.“What did you do last night?” He yells while following her up the stairs. The housewives become concerned for Kenya’s safety and their own. As the domestic drama escalates, Jordan is seen on surveillance busting out the windows in Moore’s garage. Yikes!
Oh, and the violence doesn’t stop there! Parks has a former client that believes he can settle their issues with military-grade explosives when he comes “to her office with a grenade.” Whaaaat?!
Wow! The ninth installment of RHOA promises to be pretty explosive. Catch the season premiere November 6 at 8/7c on Bravo.
