This morning, President Obama nominated Merrick Garland to replace Antonin Scalia on the Supreme Court.
Who is Judge Garland and where did he come from? The White House anticipated we’d want to know.
And the Senate immediately made it clear that they are not in support of President Obama making the appointment and feel the decision should be left to the new President.
