The 2017 All-Star weekend will take place in CHARLOTTE! The event hasn’t been in Charlotte since 1991 when it was held at the old Charlotte Coliseum, which has been demolished.
A formal announcement should come tomorrow. The city agreed to make upgrades and renovations to the Time Warner Cable Arena, which helped secure Charlotte as the venue for the event.
All-Star Weekend is in February. Specific dates for the 2017 event have not been set.
