Well, the judge has ruled that Sherri Shepherd will be named the mother of the 8-month old son that was conceived during her marriage to Lamar Sally and carried by a surrogate. Sherri’s eggs were NOT used to conceive the baby.
Sherri claimed that she was tricked by Sally into having the baby via surrogate. She says that Sally planned to divorce her all along and wanted to use the baby to gain child support money. She had been fighting to not be named as the child’s mother because she said there was no legitimate connection to the child.
The judge has decided otherwise.
