Starting October 1st, North Carolina concealed carry permit owners can carry their guns at tailgating events.
A new state law goes into effect on Oct. 1 that will lift a ban on firearms in restaurants, bars, college campuses and recreational areas — including tailgates.

Many remember all too well an incident in 2004 when two people were murdered in the Carter-Finley parking lot after a day of tailgating.
