Today, Alliance for Retired Americans members and allies will participate in a National Day of Action opposing the chained CPI Social Security benefit cuts. Activists will gather outside of Senator Kay Hagan’s office in Raleigh (310 New Bern Avenue) at noon, to stand with her and thank her for opposing this formulated cut to Social Security benefits.
Demonstrators will stand in solidarity with Americans across the country who oppose these cuts, including groups forming human chains near Congressional offices and Federal buildings in 40 other cities across the country.
