The “Rembrandt in America” exhibition had a significant economic impact for the city of Raleigh. More than $350,000 in local tax revenue resulted from food and beverage and sales taxes and more than $600,000 in state sales taxes.
The exhibition brought in visitors nationwide. There were 150,905 attendees.
