AUTHORITIES in Houston, Texas were today trying to figure out which of nine dogs killed a three-month-old at her home yesterday.
The child, named in the Houston Chronicle as Janet Vaughan, was mauled by a family pet after being left near the bathroom in a baby swing while her mother, Alva, was bathing one of the dogs, myFOXhouston.com reported.
The child’s father said he believed his daughter was killed by a Rottweiler which was normally kept outside, but gained access to the house via an unsecured back door.
