Students from Douglas Byrd Middle School in Fayetteville are recovering in the hospital after eating edibles on a school bus this morning.

Tuesday, October 10 is an election day in North Carolina.  Citizens in nine counties will cast their votes in 30 municipal races, including three cities in the Triangle: Cary, Durham, and Fayetteville. 

ABC11 reports that the city of Fayetteville is in the process of clearing its largest homeless campsite at Gillespie Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Freeway.  The city announced its plan on Monday (Apr. 24) as they are looking to push people living there to utilize city resources for housing.
