- The collection demonstrates Ball's intentional approach to building his image beyond just basketball.

LaMelo Ball is beginning a new chapter of his career with the Minnesota Timberwolves, but he is not arriving alone. Minnesota acquired Ball and Josh Green from the Charlotte Hornets in a blockbuster deal that sent Naz Reid and a sizable package of draft capital to the Hornets. Not long after the move, footage circulated of several of Ball’s unmistakable vehicles being loaded up for the trip from North Carolina to Minnesota.
Naturally, the sight of Ball’s fleet headed north brought the driving jokes right back with it. He has long been the subject of viral clips and social media commentary about the way he handles his expensive cars, and that reputation only grew after his customized Hummer EV was involved in a February 2026 collision in downtown Charlotte. Ball was not injured, and the company responsible for customizing the vehicle said afterward that it could be repaired.
The jokes are part of the story, but Ball’s collection also shows how intentionally he has built his image away from basketball. His cars rarely remain in their factory form. They receive loud wraps, oversized wheels, personalized logos, custom upholstery, and details connected to his “Rare,” LaFrancé, and signature-sneaker branding. The same creativity Ball plays with on the court is all over his garage.
His fascination with exotic cars also predates his NBA career. Ball was driving a Lamborghini to his 16th birthday party years before Charlotte selected him with the third pick in the 2020 NBA Draft. Since then, the collection has grown to include Italian supercars, ultra-luxury SUVs, and futuristic electric vehicles that are nearly impossible to confuse with anyone else’s. Here is a closer look at the vehicles firmly associated with LaMelo Ball!
Lamborghini Gallardo
Ball’s relationship with exotic cars became national news before he was even old enough to vote. His father, LaVar Ball, bought him a Lamborghini for his 16th birthday, and LaMelo made his entrance at the party behind the wheel of the black Gallardo. The moment drew plenty of criticism at the time, but Kevin Durant publicly defended the teenager and argued that a privileged upbringing did not prevent him from becoming a serious basketball player.
Lamborghini Urus
Ball’s tennis-ball green Lamborghini Urus is arguably the most recognizable vehicle associated with him. Champion Motoring transformed the SUV with a carbon-fiber widebody kit, 24-inch wheels, a red interior, a custom exhaust and personalized “MB” and “Rare” details. It has the performance of a Lamborghini but enough room to function as an everyday NBA arrival vehicle — which probably explains why Ball has been seen in it so often.
Ferrari F8 Tributo
Ball added a glossy red Ferrari F8 Tributo to his collection during his early years in Charlotte. He was photographed arriving at Spectrum Center in the Ferrari while wearing a red-and-black outfit that matched the car, turning a routine trip to work into a full fashion moment. The F8’s twin-turbocharged V8 produces 710 horsepower, making this one of the most powerful cars in his garage.
Ferrari SF90 Stradale
The gold Ferrari SF90 Stradale takes Ball’s taste for attention-grabbing supercars to another level. Footage of him driving the customized Ferrari around Charlotte circulated widely in 2023, in part because of the car’s gold finish and in part because of another bold maneuver behind the wheel. The plug-in hybrid SF90 sits near the top of Ferrari’s performance hierarchy and has been valued at approximately $500,000 in reports on Ball’s collection.
GMC Hummer EV Edition 1
No vehicle in the collection is more personal than Ball’s 2022 GMC Hummer EV Edition 1. Dreamworks Motorsports designed the truck around his Puma MB.01 signature shoe, covering it in a digital desert-camouflage wrap with orange topographic lines. The interior includes orange leather, LaFrancé-patterned material, illuminated logos and a display case in the center console holding an MB.01 sneaker on a miniature hardwood court.
The Hummer sustained extensive damage in the February 2026 crash, but Dreamworks Motorsports confirmed it had begun repairs. Because so many of its pieces were specially designed for Ball, restoring it was always going to involve more than ordering a few standard replacement pairs.
Rolls-Royce Cullinan
Ball’s Rolls-Royce Cullinan brings a different kind of energy to the garage. Champion Motoring fitted the blacked-out luxury SUV with a Novitec widebody package, custom Vossen wheels, red exterior accents and an interior featuring red leather and Ball’s logo embossed into the headrests. It is less futuristic than the Hummer or Cybertruck and not as low-slung as the Ferraris, but it may be the most luxurious vehicle of the entire group.
Tesla Cybertruck
A customized Tesla Cybertruck is among the newest additions to Ball’s fleet. Its sharp, futuristic body already fits his “Not From Here” aesthetic, but the personalized LaFrancé treatment makes it feel even more connected to his brand. The Cybertruck appeared alongside Ball’s other vehicles as the collection received renewed attention surrounding his move to Minnesota.
Ball’s garage has changed over time, and some of the vehicles may eventually be sold (like some before them), rewrapped or completely rebuilt. What has remained consistent is the approach. Nothing stays ordinary for long. Whether it is a Lamborghini covered in tennis-ball green, a Hummer built around a signature sneaker, or a Rolls-Royce transformed with a widebody kit, every ride looks like it belongs specifically to LaMelo Ball.
That makes the collection more than an expensive group of cars. It is a rolling extension of the personality that made Ball one of basketball’s most recognizable players — and Minnesota is about to see plenty of it.
