Tim Kaine, democratic vice presidential nominee, is the first Virginian chosen for a national ticket in 100 years.

Virginia Senator Tim Kaine accepted his party’s nomination for Vice Presidential of the United States of America. Kaine is the running mate of the first female democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.  Clinton will close out the Democratic National Committee tonight with her long-awaited speech. She will be introduced by her daughter Chelsea.

Democratic vice presidential nominee Senator Tim Kaine is coming back to Richmond Monday for a ‘homecoming rally.” The announcement came minutes after Kaine delivered his wonderful acceptance speech Wednesday night at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia. Kaine returns to Richmond for the campaign rally following a three-day bus tour across Pennsylvania and Ohio with Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.

The Tim Kaine ‘homecoming rally” will be held at Huguenot High School on 7945 Forest Hill Avenue. The doors will open at 5 p.m. and the rally will start at 7 p.m. If you would like to attend the rally RSVP here.
