Unofficial Election Results, The GOP Dominates the General Assembly
On Tuesday, eligible Virginia voters had the opportunity to balance the governing power in the Virginia General Assembly at the stroke of a vote. The people have spoken and Republicans will maintain their dominance in the House and Senate [66-34]. However, Delegate Jennifer McClellan (D), Delegate Betsy Carr (D), Delegate Deloris McQuinn (D), Delegate Lamont Bagby (D), Delegate Lashresce Aird (D), Senator A. Donald McEachin (D) and Senator Roslyn Dance (D) were winners in yesterday’s election [21-19].
