After years of going back and forth, Republican leaders and President Barack Obama have almost reached an agreement in regards to a two-year budget plan. The proposal was unveiled by House Republicans on Monday night. Under the deal, there would be an increase in military and domestic spending, and the federal borrowing limit would also rise over the next two years. The increases in spending would balance out the changes to Medicare payments, as well as the Social Security disability insurance fund. Representatives will begin voting on the deal as early as Wednesday. This budget deal will be one of the final acts for House Speaker John Boehner, as he will resign from his position on Friday. Ever since entrepreneur Donald Trump announced his run for president, he’s received the support of several celebrities. Former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson is the latest star to endorse Trump. “He should be president of the United States,” said Tyson during a recent interview. “Let’s try something new. Let’s run America like a business, where no colors matter. Whoever can do the job, gets the job.” The former boxer acknowledged the fact that Trump’s comments about the Latino community were uncalled for, but he doesn’t believe he truly feels that way. Lamar Odom Reportedly Tested Positive for Cocaine

Lamar Odom’s family, friends, and fans rejoiced after he came out of a coma, but the basketball star is still in hot water. After Odom almost died at a brothel in Nevada, it was discovered that he reportedly had cocaine in his system, prompting officials to consider pressing charges. “Through interviews with the prostitutes who were with him since that point, it was learned that he possibly ingested cocaine in the bathroom,” said Nye County Sheriff’s Detective Michael Eisenloffel. “This will involve a review of all the evidence gathered as part of the Sheriff’s investigation and based on that evidence, a decision as to what, if any, charges would be appropriate will be made,” said Nye County District Attorney Angela Bell.
