Residents are now at ease after a suspect in a Raleigh shootings and rape is apprehended in New York. Kendrick Gregory, is charged with murder, two counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury and first-degree rape.
St. Augustine’s University received a $1.5 million grant from the US Department of Education. the money is ear-marked for two programs that provide extra support for low-income and disabled and first generation student.
