Advance Auto Parts Inc. is cutting 100 corporate jobs in Virginia and North Carolina. Advance Auto says 50 jobs will be eliminated in Roanoke and 50 jobs will be cut in Raleigh, North Carolina, at the end of August.
A teenager is in jail for promoting prostitution of a mentally disabled person. The teen is currently in jail on a $1 million bond.
