Don’t miss the 13th Annual Durham MLK Black History Month Parade, February 7, noon in Durham, NC. The 2015 GRAND MARSHAL is
Dr. Benjamin Chavis, Jr. a lifelong activist who overcame racial injustice & wrongful imprisonment to become vocal leader in civil rights movement. The MLK Parade is organized by Spectacular Magazine and sponsored by Radio One.
This year’s theme, “We Shall Overcome.” The parade route starts at W.G. Pearson Elementary and ends at North Carolina Central University.
