Air Quality Alert In Effect For the Triangle Area

The North Carolina Department of Environmental and Natural Resources has issued an air quality action day for the Triangle. The alert is in effect until 9pm this evening. A CODE ORANGE air quality alert for ozone has been issued. Ground level ozone concentrations may reach or exceed unhealthy standards. If you are a member of a sensitive group you may experience health effects. The general public is not likely to be affected.
