Charlie Wilson On Being A Prostate Cancer Survivor
R& B legend Charlie Wilson, former lead singer of the Gap Band has had some his darkest days. Wilson’s struggle with alcohol and addiction and homelessness in the 90’s nearly took his life. He was also diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2008 and he lost his father to the disease. Charlie has bounced back fighting his addiction and prostate cancer. At age 60, the Grammy award-winning artist continues to perform nearly 100 concerts a year and watching him perform, you wouldn’t have known of his past demons.
