An exciting and positive season ended today for the Carolina Panthers as they lost 23-10 to the San Franciosco 49’ers. Cam Newton threw for a touchdown but was sacked 4 times and threw 2 interceptions while the 49’ers Colin Kaepernick threw and ran for a touchdown. The Panthers turned the ball over early in the game but held the 49’ers and on the ensuing possession, Newton hit Steve Smith for the score. The 49’ers move on to the NFC Championship game next week against the Seattle Seahawks.
