So who had the cold feet? You may recall a few weeks ago, fans were excited for Aretha when she announced she was getting married. Well, let’s just back it up a bit. The Queen has called off the wedding to her longtime friend William “Willie” Willkerson.
They were planning to tie the knot in June or July. The nuptials were to have take place in Miami aboard a yacht. Aretha feels they were moving a little too fast, and there were a number of things that had not been thought through thoroughly. I was just hoping President Obama was on the invite list to sing Al Greens “Let’s Stay together”.
