One woman inconvenienced an entire plane full of people when she boarded with a squirrel that she claimed to be her emotional support pet.
“The passenger noted in their reservation that they were bringing an emotional support animal but it was not incidated [sic] that it was a squirrel,” according to a statement from the airline. “Rodents, including squirrels, are not allowed on Frontier flights.”
The policy from Frontier reads: “We do not accept unusual or exotic animals including but not limited to rodents, reptiles, insects, hedgehogs, rabbits, sugar gliders, non-household birds or improperly cleaned and/or animals with foul odor.”
The woman refused to leave the plane with her squirrel, so everyone was ordered off so police could deal with the unruly passenger.
