Bull City United, a violence prevention initiative in Durham is holding its inaugural week of peace. Candle vigils and ceremonies are planned in neighborhoods where gun violence is most prevalent. The Week of Peace will continue through Jan. 7th.
Bull City United is a group of reformed convicts who want to be role models and change-makers for young black and Latino men who are at risk. For a complete list of vigils click here.
