Well, looks like things in Gladys Knight’s family are going from bad to worse.
Remember when the Gladys Knight’s Chicken and Waffles restaurants were raided by the feds a few months ago over unpaid taxes? Gladys wanted her name removed from the restaurants that were run by her son, Shanga Hankerson. The mother and son had a licensing agreement that allowed him to use her name on the businesses.

According to The Daily Mail, Hankerson is refusing to remove his mother’s name from the restaurants and has filed papers alleging that she she lacks the ‘mental capacity’ to rescind the licensing deal.
Whew. Looks like things are going to get nasty.
