Marc Jacobs’ Fashion Week showing has the fashion industry talking, not because of the clothes the models wore, but his use of mostly white models with faux dreadlocks, and social media was not having it.

Are we talking about cultural appropriation? The hairstylist for the show, said “the dreads were made of wool, and the look was inspired by a Marc Jacobs campaign that starred the Matrix director Lana Wachowski. Harajuku, a district in Tokyo and the rave culture were also influences, and no inspiration came from the Rasta culture. Really! Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid, and Bella Hadid were just a couple of the names to wear the controversial hairstyle!
