There’s now one less thing you have to do if you need to renew your driver license in North Carolina.
Starting this month, the NCDMV will no longer require you to take the sign test if you’re renewing your license. However, individuals getting their license in North Carolina for the first time will still have to take the sign test.
This is part of the governor’s plan to increase efficiency and improve customer service at driver license offices.
