A Raleigh woman was arrested yesterday after a five-year-old boy was placed in police custody when no one met him at his bus stop after school. Twenty-nine-year-old Sarai Flores-Lechuga was arrested and charged with four counts of misdemeanor child abuse for leaving children alone in an apartment for more than 6 hours.
In addition to no one meeting the kindergartner at the bus stop, no one contacted the school district concerning his whereabouts hours after the bus driver attempted to drop him off.
