Mother Holding 5 Year Old Son Shot Dead By Police During Standoff

I can’t wrap my brain around this. Several uniformed police officer went to a home in Randallstown, MD to serve arrest warrants on Korryn Gaines and a man who also lived at the home. The police retrieved a key from the landlord, entered the apartment and saw Gaines seated on the floor.

According to the Baltimore Sun, the woman had a 5-year-old boy in her arms and was holding a long gun.

The woman was fatally shot by the Baltimore County police officers, following hours long standoff where she threatened to kill the officers while pointing a gun at them. Right before her death, Gaines discussed the situation with the young boy and loaded these videos on social media.

This is sad and chilling!
