According to various sources, a degenerative eye disease has left Bill Cosby completely blind.

When people questioned Cosby’s appearance in his mug shot, lawyer Monique Pressley said, “He’s a 78-year-old blind man who they’ve chosen to charge. That’s not a defense to a charge, that’s just a fact.”
According to Page Six:
Cosby reportedly has a degenerative eye condition called keratoconus, a condition that causes the eye’s cornea to bulge.
