We all remember it. That “tribute” Madonna did in honor of Prince at the Billboard Awards. And then, BET threw that most historic shade at Madonna over her performance.
Remember?
Then, Madonna got all in her feelings after she was blasted on social media and because BET created a whole promo to show their disgust with what she did (pulling Stevie Wonder on stage couldn’t even save her.)

And just yesterday, she gave us this gem:
“Wearing the jacket Prince gave me back in the day without permission from BET. lol!” she captioned the throwback pic. “God Bless America. 🇺🇸 and yes that’s Marilyn!”

What Madonna fails to realize is that we MAY have given her a pass and performed something uptempo with a huge stage production. But her attempts to struggle-sing some of Prince’s most nostalgic ballads should have been left to someone with better vocal chops. Much better.
