The tallies are in and we’ve got the scoop on this year’s BET Awards nominees. This year’s ceremony will air live on June 26 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. Coming out on top, Drake is the most nominated artist with a total of nine BET Award nominations. A few other big name artists include Beyonce and Rihanna who are both up for five awards this year.
While many will tune in to the biggest night in black entertainment to see their favorite artists perform, this year we’ll be watching to see what type of tribute BET will put together for the legendary Prince. With so many artists being influenced by The Purple One, it’s all on BET to make sure the tribute is one to remember.
