In case you missed it, the goddess Lupita Nyong’o was present and accounted for at this week’s MET Gala. And she looked amazing.
Well, as everyone dissected the looks of the evening, Vogue Magazine took it a step further. They decided to post Lupita Nyongo’s “inspiration” for her hairstyle for the night. They did a side-by-side of Lupita and Audrey Hepburn and posed the question, “Is Lupita Nyong’o the New Audrey Hepburn? Celebrating the Star’s Met Gala Hair.”

Lupita SWIFTLY took to Instagram to show her REAL inspirations….Nina Simone and hairstyles directly from Africa. And she tagged Vogue Magazine in the post to make sure they knew her hair had nothing to do with Audrey Hepburn.
