According to an annual report from Challenger, Gray & Christmas Inc., factor in online streaming of games, with constant checking of brackets, television watching businesses lose $4 billion in productivity.
Many small businesses have found its beneficial to let staffers watch the games, one company in Raleigh turns the NCAA into a party for the workers.
