Politicians argue all of the time. It’s rare that you get to see them fight. It definitely never happens inside a gospel radio station.
Until now.
The fight was between Dallas County Commissioner John Wiley Price and former Dallas council member Dwaine Caraway and had something to do with Carraway’s marriage and infidelity. The two were at the station along with two other political candidates for a debate.
According to the Dallas Morning News:
The argument started after Caraway attacked Price, who’s under federal indictment on corruption charges. Price accused Caraway of lying, Philips said. But it quickly devolved into profane shouting, with Caraway hurling accusations at Price about a sexual relationship Price had with “my wife,” Caraway said. In a phone interview, Caraway declined to discuss any “personal stuff” that came out in the “heat of the argument.” He asked a reporter “not to break up my home with this bull —-.”
