Well, we saw this coming!
At a speech in Detroit last night, Minister Louis Farrakhan offered the Fruit of Islam as security for Beyonce. Several police unions have suggested that police departments withhold security at Beyonce concerts because of her Super Bowl performance. People have pointed to her Black Panthers-inspired costumes as a sign of disrespect to police officers.
According to the Detroit Free Press, Farrakhan said, “You won’t offer her police protection, but the FOI will.” He also referred to Beyonce as “my sweet sister.”
