David Justice took to Twitter last night to clear the air on his relationship with Halle Berry. The former baseball player wanted people to know that he never abused Berry and to give a bit of background on their marriage. The two were married from 1992 until 1997. Halle recently filed for divorce from her current husband, Olivier Martinez.
According to TheRoot.com, Justice spoke to People Magazine about the marriage in 1996.
“She wasn’t the same person I was with before we got married,” Justice stated. “She’d get mad when I watched ESPN. And every time she saw a picture of me with a woman, any woman who might have been standing by my side, she thought I was cheating. She carried a lot of baggage from her previous relationships. She was always suspicious. I’ve never known a girl who could throw a tantrum like she does.”
Last night on Twitter, Justice talked about the rumors of abuse and said he never touched her, but her famous Hollywood ex-boyfriend did. It’s been rumored that Wesley Snipes abused Halle Berry at one point, but that has never been confirmed.
