An accident has a section of Raleigh in the dark and power is not expected to be restored for hours. A taxi cab hit a utility pole knocking out traffic lights along Reedy Creek Road and Blue Ridge Road. The accident also knocked out power to more than 100 customers.
Vandals targeted the new police headquarters in Garner.
