Raleigh police are investigating an accident that sent a 12-year old boy to the hospital. Police say Marshaun Williams was hit while riding his bike near East Millbrook and Sweetbriar Drive last night. The driver that hit him Mustapha Sowe, was not charged in the crash, but was arrested on an unrelated warrant for assault.

The state Senates new budget heads to the floor today for its first vote. The 21 and half billion dollar budget includes the creation of a new on-line lottery game, just one of a dozen changes to state law that could be seen as major policy shifts.
North Carolina teaching assistants will head to the General Assembly today. The teaching assistants are fighting for their jobs, as thousands of positions are on the verge of being cut as lawmakers try to tighten the state budget.
SPORTS
THE GOLDEN State Warriors are NBA champions. They beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 105-97 last night. This is the first title for the Warriors since 1975.
