Two people are in the hospital after they where seriously injured in separate shark attacks at oak island beach. A 12-year old girl lost part of her arm and could lose a leg. The 16-year boy lost an arm. No word yet on their names or where they are from.
The State Senate is expected to release budget plans this afternoon. The plans come just weeks after the State House approved its own version. The Senate budget is expected t include the chamber proposal to overhaul the sate Medicaid system. Senate leaders hope to take a final vote on the proposal by the end of the week.
