A series of short films about efforts to desegregate Southern restaurants during the civil rights movement will be shown at Flyleaf Books in Chapel Hill bookstore today 7:00-8:30pm. The films are from the series “Counter Histories.”

Blues legend B.B. King has been hospitalized for dehydration. According to his daughter, King’s dehydration was caused by his Type II diabetes. No more information on his condition or where he was hospitalized is available.
