This cold brew does go down easy, BUT be careful, it’s high octane. Finely ground beans make a cloudier drink and coarsely ground beans yield a clearer liquid.
- Gradually add 7 cups of cold water to ground coffee.
- Stir gently to moisten all the grounds
- Cover with cheesecloth and let stand for 15 hours.
- Remove the cheesecloth and use it to line a fine mesh sieve. Set the sieve over a large pitcher.
- Pour coffee through the sieve and into the pitcher. DO NOT STIR.
- Line the same sieve with a large coffee filter.
- Strain coffee through the sieve into a jar; this may take up to 45 minutes.
DO NOT STIR COFFEE
- Cover and chill.
