Last year’s CIAA Tournament generated $47 million for Charlotte’s economy. Raleigh hosted the event from 1999 to 2005 and now (obviously) wants the tournament back in the state’s capital. Charlotte’s three-year contract is up this year. Should the event come back to Raleigh? Or should it go to one of the other cities being considered?
