Twenty-year old Devonte Squire of Weldon, NC died suddenly yesterday on the campus of North Carolina Central University. The sophomore theater major had been in the dining hall when he complained of not feeling well. According to WTVD, he went outside and sat on the curb where he died.

The university has sent out prayers and condolences to Squire’s family.
“On behalf of the university community, I extend our deepest condolences and prayers of sympathy to DeVonte’s family and friends,” said NCCU Chancellor Debra Saunders-White in a statement. “A vigil or memorial service will be planned on campus.”
