Give the Drummer Some-NCCU Jazz Percussion Concert

Come swing with North Carolina Central University’s alumni drummers and Thomas Taylor as they kick off the school year. Taylor, a jazz drummer and professor in NCCU’s Jazz Studies Program, and some of his former students will present a concert and fundraiser in the B.N. Duke Auditorium on the campus of NCCU on Sunday Aug. 25, at 6 p.m.

Before the concert, there will be music and percussion-centered workshops starting at 2 p.m., followed by a silent auction starting at 5 p.m. Auction winners will be announced at the evening concert. All proceeds will go to the Jazz Studies scholarship fund. Admission is free and the concert is open to the public and Jazz Lovers!
