The City of Raleigh Parks and Recreation Department is joining the Carolina Panthers to offer The Play 60 Camp. This camp is free and non-contact and is designed to encourage children to become more physically fit.
Camps will be held at the WRAL Soccer Complex in North Raleigh on Monday, July 22 and Tuesday, July 23 from 9-11:00am and from 11:30am-1:30pm. Each camp consists of eight stations that challenge youngsters to run, throw and catch footballs while improving their coordination skills. The counselors will work with the children to stress the importance of a healthy lifestyle, character development and education. Participants must be in, or rising into, grades 2-7.
