First, they gave us Rhianna’s bruised face, Lil Wayne’s hospital photos and now Evelyn Lozada’s split forehead. The VH1’s Basketball Wives star’s domestic abuse photo were released by a media outlet. It make us wonder, are the media too insensitive when it comes to privacy, namely domestic abuse cases? Or, are the outlets just giving the public what they want – the details of celebrity life.
Not long after Chad Johnson and Evelyn Lozada’s wedding in August 2012, there was a head-butting incident when Eveyln confronted him about a receipt for condoms. They couple have since divorced and moved on with their lives. Subsequently, Chad was in court for the incident and originally got probation for battery on Lozada. However, the judge thought Johnson did not take the battery incident serious and was later sentenced to 30 days for celebrating the ruling when he slapped his attorney on the butt.
So why share the photos of Evelyn’s gashed forehead now? Is this eluding to the state of the entertainment industry making domestic violence a topic of interest?
