This New Year’s, Good Morning America co-anchor Robin Roberts is celebrating a major milestone in her recovery from the bone marrow transplant she underwent in September.

Roberts, who suffers from the rare blood disorder myelodysplastic syndrome, has reached the 100-day milestone, a crucial step in her recovery process.

“Every morning I mark the day post my bone marrow transplant. Today I reached a major milestone…Day 100! Blessings..XO,” she tweeted to her 419,170 followers.

According to the Daily News, her immune system was strong enough to reunite with her Jack Russell terrier, K.J.

“Look who made it back for my 100 day celebration…KJ!! We just keep staring at each..can’t believe she’s finally home,” she tweeted along with a photo of them together. “So happy to have the lil girl back.”

Despite her steady recovery, TMZ reports that the 52-year-old may not be well enough to return to Good Morning America until May or June.
